Description

This Longhorn Parmesan Chicken is a crispy, cheesy dinner inspired by the popular restaurant dish. Breaded chicken breasts are pan-seared until golden, then baked with mozzarella and Parmesan for a satisfying, flavorful meal.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Mix remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and garlic. Sprinkle over chicken.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and cheese is melted and bubbly.
