Instructions

  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal portions. Roll each into a ball and use a Kaiser stamp or knife to shape the tops.
  5. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Brush each roll with egg white and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
