No Bake Peanut Butter Pie – Easy Chocolate Dessert Idea

Description

If you’re a fan of chocolate and peanut butter, this No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie will blow your mind. It’s everything you love about a Reese’s candy—but super-sized, creamy, rich, and served in pie form. And the best part? No oven required.

Whether you’re hosting a party, looking for a fun holiday dessert, or just want to treat yourself to something indulgent, this giant Reese’s dessert is a total crowd-pleaser. With a creamy peanut butter cheesecake filling, a smooth chocolate ganache topping, and a candy explosion finish, it’s a showstopper that tastes as good as it looks.

Ingredients

Scale

Pie Base:

1 pre-baked pie crust (graham cracker or chocolate cookie crust)

Filling:

1½ cups creamy peanut butter

1½ cups powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped to stiff peaks)

Ganache Topping:

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream

Topping:

Assorted Reese’s candies

(Mini Reese’s cups, Reese’s Pieces, chopped full-size cups, etc.)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Make the Filling
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Step 2: Whip the Cream
  • In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the 1 cup heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Step 3: Combine
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Don’t overmix—keep it fluffy!
  • Step 4: Assemble the Base
  • Spoon the filling into your pre-baked pie crust and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  • Step 5: Make the Ganache
  • Microwave the chocolate chips and ½ cup cream in 30-second bursts, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Step 6: Top the Pie
  • Pour the ganache over the filling and smooth with a spatula.
  • Step 7: Decorate with Candy
  • While the ganache is still soft, press Reese’s candies into the top. Be generous!
  • Step 8: Chill
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter (Jif or Skippy) for the best texture.

  • Chill your mixing bowl before whipping cream—it whips faster and holds better.

  • Don’t skip softening the cream cheese, or your filling will be lumpy.

  • Want an extra crunch? Add crushed pretzels or graham crackers on top.

  • Double the ganache layer if you want an extra-thick chocolate topping.
