Description

This Luxurious Banana Split Cake is a frozen no-bake dessert that brings together the classic flavors of a banana split—vanilla ice cream, bananas, pineapple, cherries, chocolate fudge, and whipped cream—all layered over a buttery graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2 large bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the chilled crust. Add a layer of sliced bananas, crushed pineapple, and halved cherries.
  3. Top with the remaining vanilla ice cream and smooth the surface evenly.
  4. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  5. Remove the cake from the springform pan. Drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce, then top with whipped cream, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and extra cherries or banana slices if desired.
