Description
A giant, cheesy slice of Costco-style pepperoni pizza, recreated at home with rich flavor and indulgent toppings. This copycat recipe delivers the same satisfaction with more nutritional control.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball of pizza dough (16 oz)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (sweetened slightly)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 slices of pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing crust)
- Cornmeal or semolina (for dusting pan)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a 16-inch round on a floured surface.
- Sprinkle cornmeal or semolina on a baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border at the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
- Add pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese.
- Place pizza in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, brush crust with olive oil, let cool slightly, and slice into 6 oversized wedges.
Notes
- Use fresh shredded mozzarella for better melt and texture.
- Brush the crust with garlic butter after baking for added flavor.
- Reheat leftovers in an oven or air fryer for a crispier finish.
- Split slices or serve with salad for a balanced meal.
