- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried blueberries, crushed
- 1/3 cup fresh blueberries (optional)
- Purple gel food coloring (optional)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and salt; mix until combined.
- Gradually stir in flour and crushed freeze-dried blueberries.
- If using, gently fold in fresh blueberries and a touch of food coloring.
- Shape dough into a log or scoop into discs and place on the baking sheet.
- Chill the shaped dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until edges are set and bottoms are golden.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
