Ingredients

  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (Pillsbury or similar)
  • 1/4 cup butter that is not salted melting
  • 1/2 cup of sugar in granulated form
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • optional: Chocolate sauce, caramel or whipped cream to use to dip

Substitutions & Variations:

  • Change biscuit dough into crescent roll dough or puff pastry for a more flakier texture.
  • Make use of coconut sugar instead of white sugar to create an alternative that is natural.
  • Add the Nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture for a deeper flavor.

Instructions

Step1: Preheat Your Air Fryer

Set the temperature of your air fryer at 350 degree F (175degC). Allow it to heat for approximately three seconds to ensure that the food is cooked evenly.

Step2: Cut & Shape the Dough

  • Then, open and close the biscuit dough container and cut each biscuit into two pieces.
  • Slice each cookie into equally sized pieces.
  • Make each piece into one tiny ball for bite-sized Churro bites.

Step3: Air Fry Until Golden & Crispy

  • Lightly coat the basket of your air fryer to avoid sticking.
  • Then, place all the doughballs in one layer and make sure they do not get in touch.
  • Aerate fry the food for about 5-7 minutes and then shake the basket at least halfway through.
  • The bites are ready when they change to into a golden-brown and puffy.

Step 4: Coat with Cinnamon Sugar and Butter

  • When the churro bites remain hot, brush them with melt butter.
  • In a bowl make a mixture of cinnamon and sugar..
